We were so grateful for the kindness shown by the staff. We arrived after the kitchen had closed, but they still took care of us and made us feel completely welcome. The food was delicious, the service was genuine, and left with full bellies and a really positive experience. It’s rare to find hospitality like that these days. We went to Charlie's Beach House, firstly because it was the only place really open on the beachfront on a Tuesday night. Stopped in for drinks around 4.30pm to enjoy the afternoon then decided we would come back for dinner. The service was good from Danny but really struggling to do everything as a one woman show. Make cocktails and drinks and take orders and serve meals as the restaurant started to get busy. We ordered the Seafood Tagliatelle and it was delicious and a good size portion. I give praise to Danny dealing with all her duties with a smile on her face and she was always pleasant to the customers. Yes, also it was a dog friendly restaurant.

We had such a lovely experience at this beach restaurant. The setting is absolutely beautiful, right by the water with the most relaxing view. We ordered two piña coladas and they were huge and incredibly tasty, honestly some of the best we’ve had. The kids enjoyed their ice cream, which made the experience even better. And there was even a parrot who jumped onto my shoulder, which was such a fun and unexpected highlight! The staff were warm and friendly, the atmosphere was easy and welcoming, and everything just felt really nice

Outstanding food, interesting dishes. Many cooked in Charlie's remarkable smoker. Located adjacent to the stunning & unspoilt Mission beach. Charlie's offers a unique culinary experience. Excellent range of dishes, & decent wine & cocktail menu. Well priced. We finished our our excellent meals.ofvsmoked brisket, trio of smoked sausages. & fish, with delicious gelato. Outdoor seating, under a weatherproof awning, fresh herbs grown &; added to the beautiful food. At the moment, probably until Christmas 2025, access is by foot only, as Mission Beach completes major renovation work. Highly recommend Charlie's for it's location, food & atmosphere.

Lovely dinner at Charlie’s!! Cocktails were delicious and meals were sensational. Great fresh seafood! I saw previous negative reviews regarding long wait times however ours was fine (<20mins). Staff were friendly and advised of long wait times when we arrived. Would recommend!!

Some of the best food we've had in a long time. Everything made in house and so fresh. The kids meals were next level and the seafood platter was the best I've ever had. Service and atmosphere had character so if you can only handle fine dining service then maybe try somewhere else. This place deserves 5 star reviews and we would have been back the next day if we didn't have to leave

Great beach side restaurant with food worth coming back for. A shame they don’t sell smaller serves of smoked meats… but then again when in Rome…… also a great selection of German beers if you like to try a few…
